Sponsorship Opportunities

is run entirely on the generosity of companies and individuals such as yourselves. You can see a list of our sponsors and have your name added to the list if you wish.

This list is not exhaustive and there are lots of things you can do to raise money. Tell us about it before hand and we can offer you some publicity, help generate interest or simply give you advice. If you have any ideas of your own that you think we can get others to do, email us and we'll add it to the list and tell everyone.

Great South Run

Great South Run 2011

has been given 10 spaces in the 2011 BUPA Great South Run.

Date:30 October 2011
Venue: Portsmouth

We will be looking for volunteers to run in these events to raise a significant amount for our Charity. We ask that you try to raise at least £100 per person as a minimum, to cover costs, carrying out sponsorship and fundraising through our online giving site (details still to be announced).

The registration fee will be covered by the Charity. So far, our teams have raised over £5000 so lets try to beat that target! You can see more on our Great South Run pages.

If you wish to join or have a question, send an email to the vice chairman and register your interest. First come, first served so register your interest early!

Take Part in an Event

Why not see if you can take part in an event, or organise one yourself, to raise money for us.

Why not try one of these events:

  • Run a Marathon or Half Marathon
  • Swim a long way
  • Jump out of an Aeroplane
  • Cycle somewhere interesting (Lands End to John O'Groats, South Downs Way)
  • Climb lots of big hills (3 Peaks Challenge)
  • Walk along a historical route (Hadrians Wall)
