Day 1 - Travel to Winter Park (15 Feb 09)

Well, we all made it to the airport, on time, with our passports. A promising start to the trip! We had a relatively easy time at Heathrow and then had to endure quite a long flight, but we had some good movies! Most of us managed to sit still most of the time too! We were met by the Lakewood Police who not only took us to the hotel but very kindly provided us with some supper too! We arrived at the hotel at 1800 USA time, which was about 1 am home time - so understandably we were all quite tired! At least we all made it in one piece!

After the flight, the BA Captain invited the young people into the cockpit of his Boeing 777 to see what it looks like - we managed to snap Ben in the hot-seat!
